It isn't just so much that he got outplayed by a Harvard geek, that they lost to a 1 win football team, or that Fitzpatrick had better stats... look at what both teams do.
Nobody is going to call fitzpatrick a starter, he is a career backup, but on 3rd and 12 the Bengals let him throw to try and pick up 1st downs against a pretty good redskins defense.
Then look at washington. 3rd down and anything over 8 yards, and they are running a draw, a screen, or some other cop out that doesn't force Jason Campbell to make a read and accurate throw. No reads. The Bengals were jumping at those short slants and screens they run, and held them below 14 points.

Ohhh, and please remember how you feel right NOW when your redskins sign their next crop of free agents in february. You will be all excited, but it will be another failed experiment and you will have that same rejected feeling you have right now.

Zorn is a good coach and if the Redskins decide to get rid of him there should be plenty of other teams interested. I have to admit at this point I am disappointed with how Campbell has progressed this late in his career, but I have to say he's the best option on that team. Maybe they do need to go somewhere else in the offseason (not McNabb, he's not much better at this point in his career) because they don't have the QB to lead this team on the current roster. Brennan is not a NFL QB, not even close. As bad as Campbell has played he is still a better option than Colt. There will be probably at least 6 QB's in the next draft that the Skins could take and feel more comfortable about their future with rather than Campbell or Brennan. Bradford, Stafford, Sanchez, McCoy etc. all have a good shot at being perennial pro bowlers in the NFL and between them there should be a couple MVP's in the future. Hell, I'd even take Tim Tebow on my team over those two.

I agree that Jason Campbell sucks, but saying he is just another dumb mobile QB like Leftwich and Vick doesn't make sense. Vick was a running QB, but neither Leftwich nor Campbell have ever been moble, running QBs.. always much closer to pocket passers. Making comments like that just comes across as racist, saying that all black qbs are mobile and dumb.
