Funny, I just made the switch to beer. I hate it, but have to have something when I go out to a bar. Had a bad Vodka problem and stopped cold turkey. I was close to a full gallon of Vodka a day before I stopped.

You must mean the big bottle ( 1.75 liters), that's less than a half gallon. No way you drink two of the big bottles every day, and function, at all.

About 2 days a week for me, would be more but you guys know how it is with the wife and kids. Have to limit myself or catch the wrath, :grandmais

well id say fuck wine then. The sugar content will give you the worst hangover the next morning. Id switch to hard liqour or a low proof liquor if you want to be able to drink alot.

finding that out now, thurs. night is my friday night and I am a hurting unit today, not getting shit done and I hate that. I have not been this hurt in atleast 5 years. May try the low proof liqour idea,

I was basically going through 10 to 12 of them a week. I would drink nothing else. Wake up at 6am and make a drink and not stop until 3am. Vodka and diet coke or vodka/koolaid/diet 7up. Believe me not vey proud. I stopped on my own and have only drank a few beers once a week since then. Amazing that everything checked out ok with me at the doc's. I thank God everyday for it.

The more amazing thing to me is that I stopped drinking soda also. Nothing but water, 6-8 gallons a day, everyday.

Did it basically for 3 years. The bar business chewed me up and spit me out. Vodka and pills and cigarettes. Stopped the first 2, but have not decided to quit the smokes yet. I lost 46 pounds the first month I changed.
