Cleveland Cavs: 56-13
LA Lakers: 55-14
Boston Celtics: 53-18
Orlando Magic: 51-18

The Cavs are 5 Games ahead of Boston & Orlando now in the East & look like they will clinch home-court advantage in the East for the playoffs.

They are also 1 Game ahead of the Lakers in the West and with only 1 Loss at home the entire season (32-1) it looks very possible Cleveland could end up with the best record in the league which is obviously crucial in the playoffs.

Unfortunately odds on Cleveland to win it all have dropped in half from around +500 to around +250.....

Most likely yes ... IF some reason they don't face Celtics in ECF , then maybe not until finals ....

Cavs need to finish at least 1 game ahead of the Lakers if they want home court throughout the playoffs since LA has the head-to-head tiebreaker. But I really doubt they're going to lose at home again this year. It's amazing they might match the 86 Celtics' 40-1 mark at home. Look at the schedule...where are the losses going to come from? Boston hasn't won in Cleveland in forever, and the Spurs are inconsistent on the road...

The next game Cleveland could conceivably lose is at Orlando next Friday, and maybe at Philly the following Friday is about it as far as potentially dangerous remaining games. Other than those two, it should be smooth sailing...

So what were the odds of the Cavs winning it all before the season?
I think I saw +3000, or somewhere in that ballpark.

I shopped alot before the regular season started , Best I could find was +20/1 , However I believe 25/1s were out there for a little bit ( like a few hours ...)
