I cannot understand how wearing blackface to a costume party 35 years ago is a sufficient enough infraction to require a high level elected official step down, boom, right now.

This is way out of hand.

Most anything can be claimed to be racist when it involves AA's, whites live in fear of being accused, you are automatically guilty, your friends at work will run for cover, they do not know you anymore.
