But seriously, I am a big Yankees fan but I keep reading these psots about how ST. Louis will win tonight and get to Lowe (blah blah blah). My questions is WHY?? What makes everyon ein this forum think the bats will "wake up" tonight. Don;t get me wrong I will be rooting for the red birds, but I am still licking my wounds from what Lowe did to my Yanks in Game 7 just a week or so ago.

If boston wins tonight or wins the series all boston fans can see that the dreadful curse is over....That is the upside to it but the downside is you guys will realize that the yanks were just better for the last 86 years. That indeed is a big question to face yourselves with. Now you all have to face that reality in a joyous moment for yourselves. Anyway, I just thought I'd throw that out and see how people felt about that.

every mature sports fan knows that you cannot win every year....even the yankees

and A good father like myself has to teach my 5 year old son that losing comes with winning.......and I will also teach my son how successful the Yankees franchise is, and how they are the target that ALL MLB shoots for and how you measure your team.

And YOU KNOW WHAT D 47 BEATING THE BIG FAVORITE IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT............it makes better Sports Stories....Patriots were the 2nd biggest underdog that won outright in NFL SB history. That was GREAT!!!!

But if you CANNOT wIn everyday....winning and losing is part of life, and you know what THIS CAMPIONSHIP HAS MADE HISTORY......NO TEAM EVER COMING BACK FROM 0-3

and if the REDSOX win TONIGHT.....THEY WILL HAVE SET A MLB PLAYOFF RECORD IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME FOR THE LONGEST WINNING STREAK OF 8 IN MLB HISTORY

and you know what.....I WILL BUY MANY FRAMED PHOTOS OF THE PAST SERIES AND THE WORLD SERIES, AND I will FRAME the BOSTON GLOBE on the WINNING DAY!!!!

and my SON and I can look back at the photos and the front page, and REMEMBER HOW WONDERFUL IT REALLY WAS for the rest of our life.
