So he doesn't make the call to his book one day after burning his bullpen trying to win a $1000 bet. What does that tell you - do not bet the Reds the next day. That hurts the intrgrity of the game just as much.

I have always been on the fence on this one. Bottom line is the game and the integrity of the game is paramount. The recent gambling scandal in the NBA has sealed Rose's fate from being inducted. It's not fair but that is just the way it is.

He should also definitely be able to coach. If a team wants him on their staff why should he not be allowed? Even if they think of him as having character issues, it's up to the organization if they want to take a chance on him or not.
