This is very surprising. Bad baseball players are the most overpaid out of all atheletes, but this takes it to another level.

The funny thing is the Angels are shopping Figgins. Baseball can stop with the poverty wail, $50 million dollars guaranteed? That is an outrageous amount of money for a guy who has had one good year, and at least five bad ones

Nothing like giving monster contracts to players 30+ coming off a breakout/career year. List at two now: Matthews and Mark DeRosa. Both from Texas also.

Tad bit of a difference in the "Monster" contracts here...
