its freezing here in southern California temp is in the high 30's low 40's (freezing is a term we use when weather is below 60°)

It freezing here, and has been snowing up here in the mountains. This is the first year I had to shovel snow since moving here in 2006.

I'm hoping to do a Tahoe trip this year. Glad to hear they're getting a shit-ton of snow!

When I was in Charlotte in 07 it was in the 90's in December I believe. May have been late November.
Anyway Boston has been like mid-atlanic winter so far ... autumn continued. May never see a white Christmas up here again, it's become a rare event.
