Israeli casualties in Iraq ???????

Is there a specific reason why South Korea, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Thailand, Latvia, Georgia ( during their own war), El Salvador, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Poland have more troop deaths than Israel? Where are the Israeli troops ?

Is there a reason why Israeli troops aren't in Iraq? Too dangerous? Their own problems? Money issues? Don't care? Want other people to fight their battle for them? Would they fight Iran but not Iraq? What is the deal here?

Don't you think Israel has more to gain from a stable Iraq than say El Salvador? Saddam Hussein did shoot scud missles at Israel during Gulf War 1, yet Israel isn't helping out now? Saddam never shot missles at Thailand...

Any thoughts?

yea it is bullshit yet under mccain we would go spend another 500B keeping Israel safe from iran.

makes a shit ton of sense.

this post is reason enough to call bush one of the worst ever. we lose nearly 4,000 more of our men and women than the closest ally.

it is a tragedy.

I hope to freaking god we never touch Iran. If Israel wants protection, protect yourself. We do NOT HAVE to be their world police man protecting them. We already have military still in Germany, South Korea and Japan that subsidize those countries ( 3 of the richest on earth). No need to pay for Israeli defense.

It is shameful that Thailand and El Salvador ( and Georgia while their country was fighting) have more troops in Iraq than Israel.

Saddam fucking shot missles at Israel, but they didn't help fight at all. It is disguisting.

I am most likely NOT voting for Mccain. I think Mccain would be a bad president, but I think Obama would be a terrible president.... Jimmy Carter bad... FDR bad.

Obama was the one who once said " Iran is not a threat", but either the day after or two days legger he took that comment back and said that Iran is a very big threat. I don't know why Mccain isn't playing up that mishap. That was a really stupid thing to say. Much worse than 56 states or anything else.

Iran spends 1/100th of what we spend on our military...

If Iran tried to pose a serious threat to us... they would not stand a chance...

We should use that leverage...etc.

Iran is providing a lot of weapons for the insurgency in Iraq, Iran is seeking nukes to "bomb Israel off the map". But they don't pose a threat?

The reason Israel isn't in Iraq is b/c other muslim countries would get involved to kill the 'great satan'. Exact same reason why they didn't shoot missles back at Iraq. Kuwait and Jordon would not have allowed us in their countries.

duder you are up in the night. iran poses a threat to israel, the country you are so pissed about.

the threat iran poses compared to the cold war threat with the USSR is minimal. the cold war was the scariest time in the countries history, period.

iran might one day get a nuke is our worry and then they will use it on israel and all hell will break loose.

the USSR was prepared to wipe US AMERICA off of the map and we talked and positioned our way out of it without putting boots on the ground.

no where in there does he say IRAN IS NOT A THREAT... hell almost everyone in the middle east is a threat but they are not the thread the soviet union was.

no ifs ands or buts about it.
