ATL has lost 3 in a row by at least 7 points. Al Horford went out after 10 mins yesterday and his return is questionable, although from the line i would assume he will play. Also they lost Josh Smith four games ago, their leader in steals & blocks, and 2nd in assists. Zaza Pachulia is also playing hurt and its apparent as he went 0/6 last night. They have been w/o Speedy Claxton all year so i dont consider that an impact on this line.

Haywood getting hurt has been bad for WAS as they have JaVale McGee starting. They have Blatche coming off the bench for some reason. Daniels getting hurt doesnt help the cause.

both teams are getting beat on the boards the last 5 games with these role players out. ATL -4.6 differential, WAS -2.4. they are also playing worse defense, getting beat in shooting % the last 5. Point differential has been especially bad for WAS as they are at a -10 for the last 5 while ATL is not much better at -6.4

when you look at these factors, i personally feel that these teams match up pretty even. i see no reason why WAS should be getting 10 points.

yes, and we all saw how much devin harris mattered last night after there were plenty of people on here saying it would. sometimes i feel people put to much stock in one player making a difference. unless that one player is kobe or lebron they are not going to shift a whole game pace. dont get me wrong, devin harris is good, but thats b/c he has to be. they have no other pg. ATL has joe johnson to score and mike bibby to control the pace. ATL has nobody like butler or jamison, right now that is.

I'm a Wizards fan and yes we are this bad. This team is a trainwreck and has no heart.
