The books hang a very low 1.5 for Top 10 BYU on the road, going to TCU. TCU easily has the best defense that Brigham Young has had to face this season. And we all know about Thursday night home 'dogs...

BYU is a huge play for me.

BYU has put up some big numbers in the past 3 years and have won last two years.

TCU has QB issues with Dalton injury

TCU will be the running dogs in this game..That is if they aren't made the favorite by kickoff. If BYU can't establish some kind of rush attack in this game, then I think TCU wins it in a low scoring game.

The only way they are made the favorite by kickoff is if sharps hit them HARD because there is no way the betting public is taking anyone besides BYU here... or Dr. Bob.

I have TCU favored by a point or two. Would not surprise me to see an upset at all.

If Oklahoma can't get any run-game going then BYU won't have any run. TCU is so good at stopping the run but can be beat with the pass at times. BYU's offense doesn't score many points without the run though... they need that balance.

TCU's secondary will struggle against the pass. yes, they will shut the run down, but also their offense has to prove they can move the ball as well.

BYU for me.

BYU for me.

Their offense can run on anyone and do well enough in the pass to make them a non-1 dimensional offense.

You have to like TCU in this one IMO. These teams are pretty even so getting the home team as a small + money dog is what I like to call a "positive expectation" bet.

This is pretty much what I was thinking..TCU stopped OU's run game cold..And the Sooners were able to go over the top at times with the pass...But OU has at least 7 players on their offense that will be drafted in the first or second rounds of the NFL..I doubt BYU is that good. TCU will also be much tougher to beat at home. Plus the ESPN Thursday night home dogs have an incredible ATS record over the last few years..I expect the trend to continue here.

Game is not on ESPN, on some scrub channel like VS, the MTN, or CBSCS.

Please list these 7 so-called 1st and 2nd round draft picks on OU's offense.

Loadholt and Robinson on the O-line. Iglesias at WR. Rhett Bomar if I can count former Oklahoma players haha. Bradford if he comes out. That's off the top of my head.

Don't buy it for a second, Bronco Mendenhall will have his players ready for this game in Fort Worth. They played like shit against New Mexico is correct, but we also both know what New Mexico is. Their a team that takes 9 minutes per drive and killed the clock, BYU barely had the ball the entire game. And still managed to win comfortably but obv didn't cover the number. Granted Cougers should've stoped a few 3rd down miracle conversions, but that's neither here nor their. TCU is a farse prancing around like they belong. Every objective person knows that their a dink and dunk offense who loves picking up 2.5 yards ever play, and always is 3rd and less than 3 on every 3rd down, it honestly makes me sick to watch their offense. The Sooners were able to stop and 3rd and shorts, others like SMU and SDSU were helpless. I see BYU passing the ball and making one or two stops on defense and winning by double digits. But who the f*ck knows, best of luck. :toast:

They won't all go this year but the 7 are Jon Cooper, Brandon Walker, Duke Robinson, Phil Loadholt, Sam Bradford, Juaquin Iglesias and Jermain Gresham, who will probably leave a year early for the NFL. They are saying the entire OU offensive line will go first or second round. I just listed 4 out of the 5. I'm assuming that WR Manuel Johnson is on the borderline of being drafted in the early rounds. But by his performance this year he could. So that's 9 potential players not counting Demarco Murray, who isn't having a good year and will have to improve greatly to be drafted. So I might have been a little conservative saying 7.
