I thought el Rushbo was going to have an orgasm.

She is going to get massacred by Biden in the VP debates. I don't understand this pick at all.

I disagree. Biden is so dirty, and has a clear history of planting
his feet in his mouth. I think
she easily holds her own against him.

I doubt it. I read a press release from Focus on the Family and they were elated with the pick. This will get the evangelical vote back in McCain's camp.

I hope not.

Of course the dems probably already have pictures of her husband beating baby seals up in Alaska.

Who else would focus on the family and Dobson vote for.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

They still would vote for McCain if Pawlenty was on the ticket.

I just think this honeymoon will be over soon and then they are stuck with her on the ticket.

Change beats experience but they just lost the experience angle. I thought they had some effective campaign ads pointing that out but that is now wasted money.

Any Republican who played the "inexperienced" card when talking about Obama should be mortified with this pick.

She was a mayor of a town of 8000 and is currently half way through her FIRST TERM as governor of a sparsely populated state...and now she's the VP pick of a 72 year old man who has had cancer a zillion times?

The intellectual dishonesty being displayed on the right is mind boggling.

And maybe even more important than experience is that she's never really taken a position on national issues, particularly foreign policy. Nothing. She's never said anything. We don't know whether she has no positions or whether she's just never revealed them. Obama has been taking positions for years. There are volumes to pour over. He spoke out against the war in 2002. Palin was an 8,000 resident eskimo mayor at that time. This is plain ridiculous.

I can't wait to see her talk Foreign policy with Biden.

I'm not surprised you like her. She's a Creationist as well.

This is an absolutely absurd pick. Up until today I rated McCain the favorite to win this race but no longer.

The fact that nutcase RWers are excited by this says a lot.

Wow. McCain really fucked this up.
