Is this the worst year ever for MNF?

With the exception of a few games this year, MNF games suck! No drama, no great plays or sequences. Even the Wash/Dal game early in season, which was probably the best on MNF, was more bizarre than it was exciting.
Betting and rooting aside, can you think of a season that had as many boring games? And to add to this, this is where John Madden cannot bring anything to the table when the game is a blowout, at least Fouts, Miller, Dierdorf were good for a laugh or 2 or found a way to make the game watchable. This season has been terrible --- agree?

Its been dreadful...the NFL just isn't what it has been, sorry to see this happen but the NFL is resembling the NBA now.

agreed, the sunday night games have been pretty bad. And the announcers dont help. Makes it almost painful to watch.

yeah but that year the nfl was getting a new contract with abc for monday night,...man they put some entertaining games on,...whew,....cant wait until espn is up to renew the contract

It's not so much the games they scheduled, most seemed like good mathcups at beginning of season but for whatever reason have not been good to watch.

Cubsmac, don't get me started on Sunday NightF -- the worst trio ever! Patrick is so predictable, Maguire is a dolt and Theismann is a shameless shill for whatever teams are playing -- as bad as it gets from the booth!!!!

Yep. Dont mind Patrick too much, think he would be okay with decent color guys. Maguire might be the worst in the business. Its like he doesnt have a damn clue about the game at all. He gets in arguments with himself during reviews and penalties. Agree on Theisman being a shill for the teams playing.

yeah sorry games but for those that need a bail out on those games the favorites are combined 16-9 against the spread. 64% for a blind bailout game isn't bad.
