I'm typing this with hindsight knowledge the game ended 3-2....

That said, good observation from METSFAN prior to ATL/TB

In order for a game to top 5.5, at least one team must score 4 goals

TB this season before tonight was 0-5 vs "TT of 4". Carry it back into last spring and they've scored 4+ goals only twice in past 29 games.

ATL prior to tonight was 1-4 vs "TT of 4". Carry it back into last season and they've scored 4+ goals only five times in past 29 games.

Both Thrashers and Lightning in first 2 1/2 seasons following lockout were righteously viewed as above average offensively.

However since about midway through last season, both are in fact below average offensive squads.
