Is this a poor justification for a really chalky (and homer) play???

First of all, a very happy Thanksgiving to all of you here at The 'Scrip.

I just laid 9 +105 with Dallas v. Oakland. Gosh, I don't even like the way that looks when typed.

My reasoning: Dallas off a very emotional win, seemed as though a weight was lifted off this team's shoulders w/ the win in NY. Both teams on a short week, but Dallas coming home and they're used to the Thanksgiving day schedule. They're getting healthy. The only offensive player missing from this team is Brian Waters. We are missing a couple of defensive players (Sean Lee most importantly). I believe this cowboys team is significantly more talented than Oakland, and is on the way up. I don't think Matt McGloin is the kind of quarterback that is going to shred this team, regardless how bad the D is...

I like Dallas to cover the 9 here and blow Oakland out.

How square do I sound?

You are probably spot on...if my memory serves me right, square plays are the only plays on Thanksgiving....dogs normally get rolled in every game. GL

ToHo should light them up, he's playing well and the Raiders can't defend the pass

it's Cowboys or pass IMHO

True... and since HOMO has a couple more days left in Nov. ... he might as well get what he can now before Dec. comes and he starts Screwing up.
Love fading him in Crunch Time ! ( around the 2nd week of Dec. until the end of the Season )

I don't think it's square at all. Packers keep it close with Detroit, Cowboys roll Oakland and Baltimore beats the Steelers.

Don't forget that Oakland lost LW with :10 left in the game.

And: Thanksgiving NFL favorites last 9 years: Won 23 of 25 games (20-5 ATS). H/T: RJ Bell

God almighty, this one was doomed 5 seconds in. To make matters worse I took a bigger position in the game via live in play wagering at 3.5 -110/ -3.5 +125/-3.5 +105. Gonna need a good break.
