plethora of outs all across Europe in every jurisdiction. is there really not even one place that is open to taking U.S. action? thinking about it, i figured there may be one or two out there, that may just be under the radar.

and what's it going to take for an American out to provide in-play action?

Matchbook has the potential to provide action similar to betfair does, but it doesnt look like they even have any interest in that.

intertops is not in europe

website says Malta

<small>(help·info)</small>, officially the Republic of Malta (Maltese: Repubblika ta' Malta), is a small and densely populated European microstate island, comprising an archipelago of seven islands, three of which are inhabited. Situated in Southern Europe, 93 km (58 mi) off the coast of Sicily (Italy), it is located in the Mediterranean Sea, giving the country a warm, Mediterranean climate, while a further 288 km (179 mi) to the island's south is Libya.[1][2] The nation's de facto capital city is the historic Valletta. Throughout much of its history, Malta has been considered a crucial strategic location due in large part to its position in the Mediterranean Sea.[3] It was held by several ancient cultures including Sicilians, Romans, Phoenicians, Byzantines and others. The island is commonly associated with the Knights of St. John who ruled it. This, along with the historic Biblical shipwreck of St. Paul on the island, ingrained the strong Roman Catholic legacy which is still the official and most practised religion in Malta today.
The country's official languages are Maltese and English, the latter a legacy from Malta's period as a British colony – the United Kingdom is the most recent outside ruling power. Malta gained independence in 1964 — it was the last European nation to declare independence between the end of World War II until the Fall of Communism — and is currently a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, as well as the European Union which it joined in 2004. Malta is a developed country with the 35th highest GDP per capita, the 28th-highest quality-of-life index, and the 34th-highest Human Development Index rating in the world.

Yes, you are correct, I was looking at a credit card processor called Ming

Intertops.com in St. John's, Antigua is licensed by the authorities in Antigua and Barbuda, and in Kahnawake/Quebec. The company can already look back upon a long tradition of integrity and satisfied customers around the world.

so there may be no Euro book taking US currently.

I also think if Betfair became available to USA, that many US books would fold or become obsolete.

I was one of Intertops first online customers, been playing online with them since 1997.

They are a fantastic out, and I call them "half time heaven" due to their unique numbers at 1/2 time.

They are for casual players though, not high rollers.

Good lord, if we could get Betfair, it might be the end of Rx, no one would use any of the sponsor books....Well, maybe 1 or 2 to look for alt lines, but there would be no reason for some to take a chance on a book if we could get Betfair.

I'm nearly erect just thinking about it...

A sizeable number of posters here can't be bothered to learn (or can't figure out) how an exchange like Matchbook works. I really doubt that Betfair would cause such a shock if it were available to the unwashed U.S. masses.
