Lots of thing to dislike about Las Vegas. I live here now but not for much longer.

1. The Weather sucks ! It's over 100 degrees for about 100 straight days ! I love the 4 seasons !
2. Traffic sucks !
3. Smokers everywhere and the lack of vegetation makes the air quality poor.
4. It's a desert ! I come from Oregon where you can grow almost everything.
5. Give me the Lakes, Rivers, Mountains, and Ocean ... you can keep the desert, cockroaches, etc. !

I miss The Stardust !!!!

My fondest memory of Vegas is staying at the Stardust, in the motel room in the back, when UNLV CRUSHED Duke for the NCAA Championship.
Freaking city went nuts.

I go about once a year for 3-4 days and love it. But by day 4 I'm ready to go home and always tell myself that I won't be ready to go back anytime soon (then like clockwork at least once a year I can't wait to go back).

I never get anything comped, ever. But I also don't use those little players cards either, I probably should. And I probably lose $2,000-$3,000 everytime I go. But win or lose I'm not a $5 better so I probably should look into comps. Never thought to simply ask for a meal voucher or whatever

Still toy with the idea of moving out there....

Would do this in a heartbeat, but I know better than that.
Even though I have great control as far as, I have no need to gamble everyday . I wouldn't want to have it in my "back yard" that easy.

You should 100% get a player card.
You don't have to be a large player to get some kind of Casino perks.
Be it a comp room, maybe a couple of breakfast buffets. It all adds up in the long run.

Golden rule, never "play" for comps. Meaning don't gamble More, just to get a free Meal.
Stay at your Level of play, and if they offer something in the mail, and you can use it... Then you will be fine.

If you lose 2-3k everytiime and you live in Nebraska, you'll never pay for a room if you start using a players' card.

Wondering what kind of comps, if any, I will get next time I go back to Cosmo. Played BJ for $50 minimum a hand with hands up to $200 for over 12 hours. They did rate me, although I am glad I asked when I got up and left because they had been rating some poor sap who sat down for like 20 minutes and he was racking up all my comps. They corrected it though, so I hope I get something out of it the next time I am in town.

Every place is different, but with that time and amount. You should be good for free rooms. Maybe a couple of meals ...
That place isn't big on gamblers .. So you never know.

An airplane and a horrible hangover are not friendly

Speaking of Airplanes ... For the first time ever... Got in 1 hour Before the schedule Flight landing the other night.
Made the flight much easier. Because normally that flight from New York is a Killer.
