I don't get this at all. Why should he stop running the normal offense? Because he feels bad for Mizzou? Um, no, that's not how it works in college or the pros. I never understood running simple plays just becuase you're up big. I honestly would not hesitate to run a flea flicker up 50 with 3 mins left. If you're not going to play defense I'll take advantage of it until the clock hits 0:00.

To me if I'm on a team getting killed it's more embarrassing that they have to stop scoring then it is to just get killed.

A. They still needed BCS style points

B. Their QB was contending for the Heisman, and

C. They were trying to set a record for most consecutive games over 60 points.
