I was playing around yesterday trying to get a feel for the system. I think it was a DGS or IQL.. Boy did it seem unfair.. For instance dealer never busted, while on the other hand I busted frequently. I later found out the computer reshuffels after every hand.... I doubt I will ever play again...

Play some free hands and then walk to the corner looking for loose change on the ground and then you will show profits.

Just a reminder (considering the last fiasco I saw posted by this guy):

Rtg back casinos are fair. Bodog and wagererstreet both use them. Also global player black jack is fair.

In a week playing rtg black jack and war, i have won over 9000. Yesterday i won 650 bucks.

I would not play any casino but, rtg software, micro software and wagerloic sofware.
Casino on net is another good casino but they take over 3 days to pay.

online blackjack should only be used if you need money. just dont get greedy with it. like if you had a bad night on sports, play online blackjack for an hour and cash out the 800 and move on. dont be some loser making a killing at this making 2000+ a day. i dont think its cool. for further info, read the journey supermarket thread.

Some are much more fair than others, no doubt about that. I have played at so many over the years, and there's a few things you should keep in mind. One, there are difficulty settings on most of them, and some sites obviously are much more fair than others. Some books may differ in whether they have or keep access to the diffictuly settings, or if the software provider does it for them. One of the most unfair I have seen over the years is 5dimes. Secondly, they, or the software does track your winnings, so don't push your luck if you win a bit, because it is only a matter of time before they not only take your profits/winnings back, but also your original deposit........

see, that's my problem...800 is not enough for me...i always try to go for 2K and that's why i lose at online BJ. if it wasn't for my lack of self discipline, i could make $800/sitting and be happy.

It never seems enough for any of us, does it parlayin? I have pretty good discipline compared to most, but still, Lets say we start out with $1,000 in a casino. Before~hand, we think to ourselves, "Well, if I could just double this and come away with $2,000, that would be great!" Unfortunately, when/if we get to that point, we alway go for just a little bit more......and more....... My buddy has this problem. Many times he only plays on some weekends when he is around me because I stop him when he gets so much ahead, and he cannot do that on his own......

Utilize the bonuses and the Bonus Plays to your advantage. That is the only way to win on a game that is set up in the house's favor.

GD or anyone else use Bill Haywood's BEATCASINOS.COM approach to making money playing blackjack online. His premise of don't try to beat the house, beat the marketing department by taking advantage of the liberal bonuses seems to make sense. The book was copywrited in 2000 so I am also wondering if some of the information is outdated.

Is Olympics casino fair? I know they have a respectable sportsbook but have never tried their casino. Has anyone won there?

A casino that has a fair game and a cash bonus incentive, should enable one to be able to beat BJ granted they know perfect strategy.

I have said it many times on these threads....the RX 'WHALES' probably would not care about this, however I have made on average between 100$ to 300$ every month for the past 24 months (except for 2 or 3 exceptions where I lost discipline), doing exactly what Fish has said above...

Roger,

Don't listen to the nonsense about beating online or live blackjack. It doesn't matter what strategy you play. Do you think the software or game designers are stupid? Telling someone they can win long term at this is complete bullshit and a real disservice to the people on this forum. And it ends up costing people tons of money.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> Do you think the software or game designers are stupid? <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Casino's do not have to cheat to win...all they have to do is deal a fair game...just like Vegas...In the end they will come out ahead Big winners...Especially online Casino's whom do not have to pay staff & have a unlimited amount of tables... Does this mean that all Online Casino's or even most are fair...OF COURSE NOT!!! HOWEVER, there are some online Casino's that are fair.....

Now what Fish & I are saying is that if you can
A) FIND A CASINO THAT DEALS A FAIR GAME
B) THIS CASINO OFFERS A MONTHLY MATCH BONUS ON DEPOSIT...
C) YOU KNOW HOW TO PLAY PERFECT STRATEGY AT BLACK JACK....

Then YES, YOU CAN BEAT THE GAME...It takes a long time to play the rollover & the profits will not allow you to retire...But can you make Money...YES...

If the overall hold on Blackjack at landbased casinos is about 8%, then online hold is around 25% in my opinion. Sure some people will win, but only 10% IF THAT MUCH!

Real land based casino hold on blackjack is probably closer to around 10-15% since about 95% of the players in vegas have NO IDEA how to really play blackjack

True Players........but with perfect strategy you should be able to return 98+% on blackjack without any card counting involved.
