iraq kinda flipped the war issue over...the parties flip flop on war all the time....
humble foreign policy, no nation building is historicially a conservative principle....bush ran on that after bubba played around in somalia, kosovo etc....
as for the other stuff gambling, drug legalization, abortion, gay rights
those are issues to be handled by the state at a local level not the federal government
only been shouting it for 6-9 months here

and somebody who has followed the financial markets on a day to day basis for the past 10+ years hasn't a clue.....

Fiscal conservative-Centrist on everything else. WTF is a Republican? W was elected twice as a "Republican" but spent like a liberal for 8-years. BO is a liberal, but really an elitist, which doesn't fit very well with yesterday's Democrats. I don't think Republican or Democrats are good descriptors of a persons views. FWIW, I left the Republican party in the 90's when the religous right was in power..religion needs distance from public polcy.
