If you must bet on baseball, then only bet on home teams. They win more, so your money should last longer, especially with signup and reload bonuses. Fulfill one, move on to the next, so on and so forth

If you find a way to lose consistently, you will have found the golden goose. All you have to do is bet the opposite team (ie. fade yourself).

Most losers will have a plan of attack but as soon as it loses they change plans. A good example: loser believes Seattle as a dog will not get swept by Oak and plans to bet Sea progression style until they win a game. Seattle loses the first two games and the loser abandons the plan and lays off the third game. Of course Seattle wins. Note: I just gave you a great system to play for the remainder of the year.

petyos, with all due respect I believe you are showing your ignorance. You are out of your league my friend. Some of the sharpest of sharps here in Vegas use this system. I don't mind giving this system play that wins year after year because you need discipline to use it and you must stay the course. The majority of gamblers lack both.

It gets quite expensive wouldn't you say Chuck? I mean Seattle was a cheap example being a dog three times, what if someone said a team like the Sox or Yanks were at home and you said they wouldn't get swept, but they did? That would cost a fortune.

If you want a simple system that usually works just do the tried and true. Bet teams that have won three or more in a row and against those that have lost three or more in a row. Only rules are stop after 6 games, once a team gets a 7 or more streak the public starts piling on and making the prices unattractive and other rule is don't lay over -130. Won't make you rich, but isn't a bad idea to get on hot teams or against cold teams and at decent prices.

Baseball is a very situational sport to bet, thus doesn't have as many etched in stone angles like foots & hoops, but a few that won't hurt you long haul..

Is to play the dog on isolated tv games(like Sunday night baseball or now defunct MNB)..especially if it's say the CWS as dog w/ace on mound after NYY swept 'em in Chitown just days earlier

Look for quick turnaround spots to bet home and away revengers in return hookups(like Yankees ace vs. Boston ace home and away hookups..rarely a 2-0 sweep)

Look for the 1.50 or larger dogs in Saturday national tv Fox games..it drums up interest in the game

Look to stay away from chasing with or against sizable streakers(if you missed the train when leaving station or it's first few stops)..don't try to be the genius of knowing when the A's win streak stops(it may take you 21 tries!), and if you must get involved then join the streak in it's current direction(not against the grain)

Chart pen usage/depth on teams..many teams can't hold on late in the day & age of band-boxes, roids, and 6-inning starters

Be very careful with your bankroll between the All-Star break(Gm#81) until around Gm #140ish as most teams all jockey/jerkoff to create hype in markets that really have no real chance, as to create ticket sales for many that have begun to sag..as even many wiseguys know this to be a good time to walk away & recharge w/fishing or golf trips before Foots starts up!

Find or subscribe to a stat service, as to chart innings & runs where pitchers are allowing them, for ex: former Key & Glavine, get them early(1st inn) or not at all vs. slow start hitting teams(especially if full of weak off-speed hitters)

Pitcher's strong and weak month charting, Left-Right, Day-Night stats, plus Groundball-Fly ratios versus particuliar hitting styled squads,etc..

Watch for team versus team numbers(and whether home or away), as even the best vs. worst makes for great rivalries at times(ex: Cincy & Brewers play Stros tough and are dog every gm), or good vs. good(ex: SFG own Stros, especially in H-town last 10 yrs)

Bet on the Marlins and Expos in Interleague(especially as Dogs in ugly spots), as they are shiznit!..bet on the dogs that are having crappier year in city/regional battles, as they need something to aim for & get their city geeked for slumping ticket sales(ex: NYM over NYY, or Bucs over Phils in Pitt every year)

It's all about value(should rule almost any fav over 1.40 OTB to your plans), as dogs are the only way to go, but knowing when and when not to pull trigger is the key(try following a regional team closely and/or their division as a starting point, then go from there)

Look to go against Island pitchers as chalk in meaningless/non-playoff big chalk tv spots where they look infallible, as one would swear by some of their queer performances(especially if another isle pitcher is opposing them), to having friends & family back home on the isles taking the price, that they will take dives for?

And most importantly as Fish said, check out the MLB forum, there are some guys off to nice starts to the year thus far.

WildBill, When would the Red Sox or NYY be a dog all three games? I said the system involves betting on a DOG not to get swept. You want to be on a better than avg. team so most of the time you would be on a road dog.

I have found a situational play that does win over the long haul. Not every game mind you, but over the course of a season.

When a +170 or more dog wins the game and is a +170 or more dog the next game ... play them.

A lot of players seem to load up on the favorite after they lose expecting a bounce back. That causes a nice bump up in the money line and gives you some nice value on the dog.

Try it for a few weeks and see if pays off.

Oh yes also home dogs on Sunday are always solid from the middle of the season on. Teams generally give several starters the day off on Sunday. Usually away teams are more likely to do this. Don't play however if the #1 pitcher is going for the fav.
