Is there a sport that the Big Ten doesnt suck at?

Seriously, they have dropped off huge in football, the last 5 years have proved this, just because u run be4 pass in football doesnt mean you will get beat by explosive offenses in football, style over substance, etc......but lets face it, Big ten cant play football anymore.


Outside of michigan state, ios there a big ten basketball team that can shoot the basketball, dunk the basketball, pass the basketball? These teams basically find excuses to run into e ach other, and stare at each other from 5 feet behind the 3 point line until the shot clock is about to expire.

Now some coaches have philosphies...this means regardless of personnel, they a \re simply gonna preach ball control, even if they are tremendously athletic

OK fine, but is there a rule the entire conference must play this way? They cant make open 3s, they c ant break down defenses, why are big ten games national televised games? Conference USA, wac, OVC, CAA are all conferences with way better games being played.......I truly belive these teams dont score 100 points combined per game due to philosophy, they honestly really do suck.

You build your teams around the teams you play in conference.

If you saw Auburn play MSU today, you would say, do these teams do anything but shoot 3s.

i have to disagree with you about the big ten sucking at basketball, its a very balanced conference and they beat the hell out of each other...Ill admit there isnt that 1 or 2 teams that are at the top...but i dont think anyone wants to have to play michigan state or wisconsin come tourney time...

the big 10 is probably the 2nd or 3rd best conference in basketball top to bottom. not top heavy, but top to bottom id put it up against anyone except big east.

Big Ten is tough....look at Michigan....beat UCLA, beat Duke, played UConn close the the last minute....not even .500 in the Big Ten....if they only won one of those or didn't compete like they did I would call it luck, but 3 good games against three tough teams....hmmmm, they must be terrible

I agree with you on the Little 10 also..Gtc is biased cause he is from that area. Plus anytime anyone says anything he jumps in with stop bitching about losing a bet....When he is a clown that quit gambling numerous times because he can't take the losses and then pops back in with a play that loses and whines again. He is quick to jump in anyone's threads and say something but is a little girl and bets 10 bucks a game anyway, so don't worry about him

I see them getting 6 in the tourney (MSU, Illinois, Purdue, OSU, Minn, Wisc), but the only team that has a chance to make some noise is Michigan State.

Penn State and Northwestern are likely headed to the NIT, and Michigan the CBI.

big 10 is very basic... and MSU/wiscy this year (MSU usually) is the epitome of ownage--i know--they smashed my dreams back in the 90's when IOWA STATE was ranked in the top 10, only to lose to that one ******... mateen cleeves. yes, he won the game by himself in the dance.
