It seems that most of the square plays have been winning.

Nova
Memphis
Uconn

The dogs have been kicked to the curb for the most part.

Blood bath.

Good luck gauging whats gonna happen in these games.

It all comes down to who wants it more & we just simply dont know that. No way to cap that. Whos better prepared, whos more mentally tough, & whos hungrier.

Every game today a total blowout. Its the NCAA Championships and these teams are getting ass dusted.

key today is to wait for the second half lines.

Not sure who is going to show up.

I have noticed that when a very high seed play a low seed the total goes over.

Taking the Zags game OVER tonight and that's it for me today.

Maryland was the square play not Memphis, look at the percentages, the public turned on Memphis after the Northridge game which was great for me.

I don't think you can call a play "square" just because it's a fave. There are a lot of times when the fave is the right play IMO. But I agree with the others, it's hard to cap these tourney games. When you take homecourt out of the equation in college hoops it really makes things a lot more difficult.

Oddly enough, given the public perception of equality in this tourney I think they are setting the lines to attract the 'square money' to the dogs. I may be wrong, but thats my interpretation. With the exception of Conn; Memph and Nova didn't look very good in their openers; conversly UCLA, and Maryland looked very good. Just my opinion, BOL Y'all.

How the hell was Villanova a square play?

85% of the public was on Villanova just like Maryland according to scoresandodds.com and thespread.com had it around 75% on both Nova and Maryland

Oh, okay. I guess UCLA was the right side then.

Tonight, there is a very high percentage of bets on Western Kentucky, an 11 point dog.. were talking like more then 75%. So if you consider square plays to be the main public plays then the dog would be the square in that case. When there is a large percentage on a dog team I like to play the fave. Memphis was not a square play, majority of bets were on Maryland. lots of the public saw how bad Memphis looked their first game and how good Maryland looked against Cal, so they took the points and got burned hard.

Maybe not, but Memphis was and the public turned on them after the Norhtridge game. Vegas got some of it back with Memphis. This is only one of several factors I look at. For instance, I'm siding with the public on the Washington game.

I think I'll "fade the public" and get me some UCLA action. Why? Well, I don't like it, but I'm sharp and can see it's a trap game. :cripwalk:

The game will play out one and only one way on this day. And it will have nothing at all to do with how many people have bet a particular side. Good luck.
