Is the Ravens -6 the biggest sucker bet of the week?

Listening to sports radio in the Bay Area, Derek Carr sounds like he'll play Sunday vs the Ravens w/ out Terrel Suggs. But it doesn't sound like he'll be 100% due to a swollen hand. Even if he was perfectly healthy this line is fishy? The Raiders O couldn't pass midfield against the Bengals until garbage time, how do they cover 6 vs the Ravens?

Is it just the cross country flights two weekends in a row? I'd buy that if it was week 8 or something, but not week 2.

Thoughts?

Ravens stayed on the west coast after the Denver game.
I wouldn't necessarily plan on a let down by the Ravens...but I can't see them playing to their full potential against a team that just got smoked.

This isn't week 6 where the Ravens are 5-1 & Raiders 1-5.......this is weekn2, & both are 0-1.......the spread is correct!

To me line seems a touch high. Cincy was just a fg fave last week, two similar teams.
Would play oakland for sure if gets to 7.

Ravens offense was absolutely terrible last week. I'm not sure if the Denver D is that good or Ravens O that bad. Probably a little of both.

Currently the Ravens have zero deep threats on offense.

On the other hand the Defense looked great, even with Suggs going out they held Denver out of the endzone and sacked/confused Peyton several drives.

If I had to play it I'd say Ravens force Carr into a few turnovers and win by 10.

Long shots in horses pay off much better than taking the Raiders under a TD. Just saying

If there's ever a "must win" this early in the season, this is it for the Ravens. Team stayed out west for the week so travel isn't an issue. I like the defense to hold Oakland under 13 points, so if you think the Ravens can get 20, -6 is a great bet.

The injury concern with the Raiders was why I asked. I expected a line of around 7.5-8 because of Carrs hand(he'll play) woodsons shoulder(game time decision) Justin ellis(ankle). They signed Taylor Mays(he's awful).

Might have been closer to 7 if BAL didnt lose Suggs
