Over the last few years I have really gotten into college football.....I was always a NFL guy not anymore.....I'm talking about watching and betting.
I'm obsessed with college and pro football, lol...im that way with college basketball, boycotting the NBA this year

Love baseball, but don't bet much bases, enjoy watching and I keep up with the standings and watch nightly

I have found it as a new way to approach NFL, is not play first 4 weeks and then pick and choose my spots for two team 6 point teasers. Have done rather well and moved most of focus to college.

The NFL is a gold mine. Best sport to win money. Those who argue are wrong and don't know how to win.

Given CarolinaKids's overall 47% win rate** for All Sports during his halcyon posting years at Rx, 2004-2011 it seems logical he would view the NFL as a tough wager

**So called "SIP" posted pics from little ckid uring those years came in even lower at just under 44%

The reason it keeps bookies in business is because of the volume, plus the 10,001 prop bets

More volume, more vig

Well put.

Anyone willing to dive deep into NFL stats can have both fun and financial success with sufficient actuarial handicapping.

For someone like ckid whose sports betting is 100% chasing line moves, the plot thickens a bit

I think you are being a little hard on CKid.

He is still waiting for the eclipse.

He is still waiting for the eclipse.

he is ranting in another low budget sports forum this evening with claims of having attended dinners at The White House in recent weeks due to his prominent role in North Carolina GOP......best to give him all the room he needs for Weaving

NFL is the easiest with a little effort and control. That is why the public fails at it

If you think the NFL is easy there's some easy money waiting for you if you join the RX NFL Contest. Thousands of dollars.

Why do I think it won't look so easy when the counting is done in January.

The new rule is going to flip some games big time and cause a lot of turmoil in the betting world. There will be many bad beats or fluke wins cause of the new rule. It might be a circus unless refs and the league figure this out quick. Because noway you can enforce this without it being a flag parade nonstop.

Well Michelangelo, Winning money and winning contests are 2 different things. In the supercontest last year those tied for 50th hit 61% and got $1,137.70 (lost money, $1500 entry fee) and those who picked 60% got paid nothing. If you are making straight bets and hit 60% you are not losing money.
