Is the arizona line really -7 for zona vs UTEP....?

I undertand utep is pretty good and has played some of the better competition this year so far, but -7, really???? someone on this forum has to have some serious inside info as to why this line is so shady... If no one can convince me otherwise im about to dump 200-300$ on this game which for some of you would be the equivalent of 2-3k lol.... Does anyone understand why this line is so close....? I'm open to all suggestions

dang lol greenbacks and fade2win chime in and now im doubting myself lol....you guys know a lot more than me too..i respect both of you a lot. the public should be heavy on arizona with this small spread, at least i would guess....utep has played very well thus far but their team isnt as deep. i have trouble understandig how utep will score with arizona, i can see the defensive side of it, but offensively arizona is a high scoring team..... fade2win, greenbacks, id love to hear you guys elaborate on this before i decide to lay a bunch on zona as a possible sucker bet

Great insight from everyone. I appreciate the info.... My local currently has zona -5.5 and it keeps teetering from -5 to -6.... I'm really having trouble with the public being heavy on zona and the line going down?? Seems like the perfect trap bet. Vegas is a lot smarter than me, I'll let this play out for a while and post a play later ..... Need to do some more research on this one
