That's what the general opinion/spread the last two years in NC and of course I took Clemson and won both...but they had Watson. This year Clemson is too green a QB thus Bama has the advantage. So is Georgia, rookie QB.
If Ohio St makes it to the NC and Bama gives 7... I would take Ohio St and live with it.

with running backs 3 deep like Georgia has with a great Defense......you only have to have a Jay Barker type at QB, a guy for the most part had a few good games personally in 92, but had the job because of the mistakes that he didn’t make, not pressing the issue. Kirby knows that, and that is exactly why Eason didnt jump back onto the field once he got healthy enough to play again.

Until someone steps up, and I mean not just one game or one season, it's Alabama and then everyone else.

What big game has georgia won in two years? Notre dame maybe, but jury is still out on them. UGA appears good, but they aren't playing anyone good yet, and they really get an easy road to the SEC championship. They will get Auburn later in the year, but Auburn could be a dumpster fire in the making. Full disclaimer, it is not UGA fault that the SEC E is awful, scheduling Notre Dame was a good thing, but those type of games are sheudle so far out you didn't realize they were your toughest game of the year for that scheduled year.

Kirby has only been there how long? Need I remind anyone that Saban lost to ULM in year one. Players believe in Kirby.

Bama hardly in league of our own nor is the SEC suddenly garbage. Bama is a level above the conference and has been for a decade...doesn't make the conference terrible nor does it elevate the Tide to a level above everyone else in NCAAF.

Our Dline is improving every game so hardly even blitzing anymore to get pressure so this is a huge advantage for Bama going forward. But our CB are small and don't do well against large WR and our downfield passing is nonexistent against decent teams. Going into last week Hurts was 1/18 in throws that traveled >20 yards and had not hit once since 1H of FSU game in week 1. He hit a couple last week but watch for LSU and the barn to stack the box like Udub, Clemson, FSU, and aTm did. We don't have a single WR or TE stepping up to be the clear #2 target after Ridley so, IMHO, there are some pretty clear options for a great DC to exploit.

If we make it to SEC title game UGA is very good and perhaps even Bama's equal defensively and both LSU and the barn are only a notch below. That's 3 very big defensive tests for an unproven passing offense.

Bama has some major holes but what we do well we do VERY well
