I just got an email on my "betting" email address.

I have only given this email out to the books that I have signed up with. Not even theRx, majorwager or covers have this address.

At any rate, the following books have this email:

olmypic
pinnancle
betjm
tradesports
neteller
firepay

This email was from metrosportsbook.com and at the bottom it said "you recieved this email because you signed up with us or played in a free contest at our website." Not true, never heard of them nor have I given them my email.

They did have an unsubscribe link, and that took me to a page on "toutreporter.com" This leads me to believe that someone was selling personal info.

Anyone else receive email such as this and have any idea who it could have been?

Probably have spyware on your PC that is broadcasting your personal info all over the web

Try installing Spybot to clean things up, works pretty good!

I have no spy-ware on my computer nor viruses. I know this for a fact. I never enter this email on any site except for those books listed. Has anyone ever heard of "toutreporter.com" ?

Toutreporter is associated with playerstime.com

Do you have an account at any of the places that you mentioned or playerstime.com?

No, never heard of playerstime.com.

I did forget to mention one more, intertops. I had an online casino there for a little bit, since closed.

Current open accounts are at betjm, neteller and firepay. The others I have listed I did have an account but are since closed

The world would be a whole lot better if everyone

Be careful. 99% of us have spyware on our computer without even knowing it. It is almost worse than a virus. I would advise to never assume that you have no spyware as you usually get it simply by erroneously clicking on the X to get rid of a pop up message. You received good advice to use spybot. This spyware stuff is really horrible.

I have seen the adverse affects of spyware - just take a loo at any of my realtives computers. I have used spybot, adware, etc, and I am pretty confident that I have zero spyware on my machine. I do not use IE (a big step in not getting spyware) and I do run anti-spyware programs regulary. I also run anti-virus software, have it update daily, etc.

What I am saying is I am pretty confident that SOMEONE sold my info, the question is who
