With sports betting growing more rapidly will blowing a game or sandbagging in sports stop? Does this happen in certain sports more than other, like Jai-Ali and NCAA?
Just curious on everyone's thought....

I am going to rephrase the previous. I am just wondering if players in college or pro purposly not do well in certain games because they are paid off on some level?
Has this happened in the past?
Is it more in NCAA, MLB, NHL, Boxing, etc....?

Major league team sports, probably not

Think about how much you would have to pay a pro player to throw a game...much more than his salary (since if he got caught he would be out of a job for life)

Happens a lot in college...since NCAA refuses to allow athletes to get any money, they are hard up for cash and can be convinced

Likewise, non-team sports (boxing, tennis, golf, etc are easier to pay off

I called BHB a couple days ago and I was told they were located in panama and they had posted a 500,000 bond with the govt to guarantee payouts. I asked for the phone number of the agency that held the bond and I was told it would be emailed to me. It never came. Whats up BHB?

When your a college player, you go to school and to practice. You do not get paid any money (as far as rules go), you do not have time to work a real job, so what do you do for money? If you have a good game, alumni will sport you a couple of hundred. If you happen to have a shitty game because some guy came up to you that week and said that he would give you 5k if you play like shit, I think your answer would be ¨Can I have that in Cash, please.¨ Pro sports it is hard to do because they make too much money. Except for Boxing and Horse Racing.

There is cheating in almost all sports. The officials more so than players.
