Am I premature with this thinking?
Maybe...but we all have opinions...
say hello to the mother in law
He's definitely showing his inexperience. His Press Secretary dodges every tough question, the guy he appointed to be in charge of the Treasury made "common mistakes" regarding his taxes, he appoints a former defense contractor lobbyist to be Deputy Secretary of Defense (after passing an ethics bill that prohibited lobbyists from holding a position they once lobbied to).
Took the oath a second time out of "an abundance of caution" but didn't see the need to re-sign the executive orders he passed between the first and second taking of the oath -- I think he thought he'd look stupid if he turned around and did it all again. Speaking of the second taking of the oath, did anyone notice that he did it without a Bible? After preaching how important his faith was to him during the election process, it would be a shame if he downplayed it to appease the "non-believers", as he addressed them during his inauguration speech. Maybe that was the real reason he took the oath a second time -- that way the "non-believers" could have their own photo of this historic achievement.
He Ordered Gitmo closed within a year but the panel that's supposed to find a place for the detainees hasn't even been formed yet. This was a move that put politics ahead of the interests of the country. He is pandering to the younger population by showing off his $3,000 Blackberry while the country is mired in a recession. I hear there's some pretty smart computer hackers out there who have even succeeded in penetrating the Pentagon -- give these guys time.
The bottom line: he will succeed in passing liberal domestic policies while acting hip and maintaing his popularity for a second term. Countries like Iran and North Korea will become stronger during his tenure because they will welcome him warmly and smile and make token gestures to make it appear that they don't hate us, and Al-Quieda will regroup. Don't forget that it was during Clinton's tenure that Al-Quieda schemed and planned.
Unlike Rush Limbaugh I do not hope that he fails because national security should always be our #1 priority and this is where I will judge our President. You can forget about the economy if another 9/11 happens. Putting the interests of terrorist suspects and worrying about what other countries think about us ahead of our national security concerns me. And isn't it funny that liberal networks continue to bash President Bush even now that their golden boy has assumed command?
This is the funniest thing Ive read all day.. almost as funny as Daveinvegas' bottle of Kleenex joke... Lol! and be careful its Al-Queada not Al-quieda Dave might jump all over you for that..

I would never hump the dawg for an obvious typo when he appears to be know something about which he speaks. I don’t find it funny when someone gives his opinion in a articulate manner. What I do find funny is that someone can actually get under your skin and cause you to ucking: all over yourself.
