I was wondering If he had nothing to hide, why was he running away from police on highway? Couldn't he at least stop and ask police wtf?

For some reason the infamous Bronco chase was not allowed in as evidence.

One jouror said after the case that had he known.

Had he known wtf living under a rock.

Hell wasn't the brother watching the NBA finals that year it all unfolded during game 7.

I like when the OJ said he would devote the rest of his life to find the killer. He not only gave up trying to find the killer he moved across the country and now devotes his life to golf.

It's funny that the black community will defend OJ now after criticizing him for being "too white" back in the 70's.

Very true. The anti whitey omerta was being enforced full blast during oj trial.

Probably the lowest point of American black/white relations during my adult life.

Obviously not on par with stuff that happened during 1960s, but I wasnt around then.

That trial definitely put race relations back several steps.

Watched a group of supposedly college educated black students applaud and act more similarly to something that belonged at the local zoo than at a university student union.

That trial also help make obvious (to anyone that still had doubts) that with enough money (black or white), the criminal justice system in America can be defeated.

It did make for some comical and interesting TV for a couple a months. Between characters like Cato Calen, Mark "the racist" Furman and some of the other clowns you almost forgot that two people were tragically murdered.

The circus after they "loosed" the Juice was pathetic. Watching the black community embracing him and welcoming him back to the hood was heart warming. Even more ridiculous was watching some of the black females with tears in their eyes after the verdict forgeting the guy was a an abusive, jealous, nutty husband at best.

The craziest thing is the Juicer actually thinks he didn't do it. I think he could really care less that he took two lives. OJ is just pissed he can't get can't put together a foresome of his old wealthy white friends for a round of golf. He can't get a Country Club membership or a decent table at his favorite restaraunt. He can't get a freebie anywhere because all the jock snifers no longer look at Juice the football player he is now OJ Simpson the murderer.

If there was ever any doubt(there wasn't for me), that should have gone out the window when the whole "If I did it" crap came out.

Bronco memories..........

For some reason the infamous Bronco chase was not allowed in as evidence.

A side note...Ford Broncos dropped sharply in wholesale value in the next edition of Kelley Blue Book, after millions watched that day on T.V.

I remember calling S.H.(Buster) Kelley II in Los Angeles, and asked him what they thought of the new book coming out, his remark was(something like) "this is not good , and we will be adjusting downward considerably in value to reflect the softened demand this event has caused." Especially in Southern California.

Unfortunately I had two of them at the time, and was able to trade the blue one off off at a small loss, but the low-mileage white one was the kiss of death. Lost 4,600 on that one, after owning it three weeks. No one wanted a white full size 1990 Ford Bronco then (or now) :missingte

And it was either the very next year, or two model years later........Ford cut the Bronco from its product line. Thanks OJ

blame the lapd
what's more dangerous? having OJ walking the streets or a corrupt lapd? i agree blame the lapd; they tried to set him up, when they probably didn't need to. i say a corrupt lapd is more dangerous to society.

He suffers from the juries decision? How about he suffers from his own horrible decision making at trial? He speaks for the dead Johnny Cochran now too?

Yes OJ was guilty. Between the police manipulating evidence and the horrible prosecution by Darden and Clarke - it's not surprising a man with almost unlimited resources was able to have his lawyers convince a jury of reasonable doubt.

Darden and Clarke and others involved in prosecuting OJ claim to have suffered from the verdict, yet they all profited by writing books and getting paid millions for it and doing numerous interviews. They made enough money to retire on and i'm sure they made enormous donations to some type of victim fund.:missingte :missingte :missingte :missingte :missingte :missingte :missingte :missingte

If I have to say Yes or No, I am going with NO*.
*indicates OJ could have been at the crime scene at some point and not wielded a knife.

If anyone studies this case, they will find the jury made the right decision. I don't recall much about the incompetence of the prosecution, but I know the investigation was a total mess. If you ever wanted a case study on how NOT to conduct an investigation, this is it.

EDTA aside, a couple of questions and tidbits:
How did OJ drive up in the Bronco without Alan Park limo driver seeing him? It was a very quiet and dark area.

How was the left glove Furhman discovered behind Rockingham still moist some 7 hours after the killings? This was in June with fairly warm nights.

One year before this double murder, Ron Goldman's friend was murdered in the same way. His head was almost cut off and he had stab wounds all over the front of him. Just something to think about.

Jason Simpson was known as (a) mentally unstable, (b) a druggie and drinker, (c) to have had several incidents of uncontrollable rage (including pulling back his girlfriends' head and cutting her hair off), (d) to carry his chefs knives home after work.

This Question shouldn't even have a Multi Choice Answer...

Should just have YES

And Yes, the Trial was a Big Joke..They didn't do the right job and Let him get away with it. The DA should have handled the case, Not those @sses
ADA's

But I will say one thing that I am Almost 100% sure of..

If it was You or Me on Trial......WE WOULD BE IN JAIL RIGHT NOW !

He looked like he just got away with murder...

I'll always remember being a kid eating at a local Italian place when the whole Bronco chase went down. Didn't know what was happening really, just remember everyone fixated on the TV and being in shock.

One wrong doesnt necessarily right another, but I agree a corrupt lapd is more dangerous to society than oj being a free man.

Oj deserves to be in jail, but many corrupt cops should also be behind bars.

You white boys think that the black community gave a shit about OJ's ass? They weren't cheering because OJ as an individual was found not guilty rather a man who happened to be black in the spotlight, for once, beat the system at its own game. Most black people could give a shit about OJ Simpson then or now. IMO he was guilty as shit but he was found not guilty by a group of his peers so live with it. Not ever minority was cheering for his ass either way. You know how many whites got away with worse in the country for hundreds of years and even to this day?

By the way, this trial was more about money than race. Most of the US population would've been a goner if we were put in his shoes because we would've been short a few million of dollars. You can add Baretta, Michael Jackson and numerous athletes and entertainers? Why the hell is Wayne Gretzky and his wife walking around like shit didn't happen? It's not because they're white, it's because they have money and you don't!
