Interesting that you mention this game but don't mention that UNC destroyed Michigan State by 35 points ! Wait a minute ... Isn't this the same Michigan State team that just toyed with Louisville ?

I'm talking about within the last week, not 4 months ago. Michigan State also got crushed by Maryland and Northwestern and lost to pitiful Penn State months ago. Louisville got crushed by W. Kentucky and lost to UNLV. Uconn lost to Pitt twice this year and Nova just beat Pitt. Who cares what happened months ago, it's about now and the ACC as a whole was terrible in the tourney.

Carolina and Villanova have a high caliber recent history. Carolina escaped an underrated Nova team with razor thin (with help of a late call) win up in Syracuse regional on their way to National Championship '05. These two east coast teams/programs know each other well. I like Carolina SU but IMO 7 points are too many. Villanova will not sneak up on Carolina. Big East memories: UNC's fold in the Garden vs Georgetown stung North Carolina and I'd bet Hansbrough remembers it well. This will be a power conference war.

I respect 'homer' opinions when poster knows a team/conference/region. I always read CK's posts when I see 'em. Lots of sharp PA posters ( PA may have most of all states) on RX too.

I really don't know why Duke's loss has anything to do with UNC chances of winning this weekend. Duke hasn't been a factor in the March madness dance for quite some time now. They are always an early out as of late. It will not be a conference that takes the court this weekend. It will be teams and UNC looks like it is far superior ! I can't find a even Money bet anywhere in Las Vegas !
