Is Micah Owings worth a shot tonight?

Maddux is 2-11 lifetime against the D'backs. Is Owings worth a shot even though he hasn't pitched well?

I like Oakland they seem to beat all the teams they are supposed to and lose to the one's that are better than they are.

I would check the weather report and/or humidity in the San Diego bay first. Has a great effect on the balls in the air at Petco. But standing alone, I would say yes.

As an aside, I have been to San Diego 4 times, and 3 of those 4 times it rained. The best weather in the U.S. and it rains when I go.

Wow why was that total so low for SD/Arz? Owings is 87 octane in a Baseball uniform. Was this made so low to fool the sharps into not playing it?

Owings is pathetic. I bet him against him earlier in the year about 4 times in a row and won them all. I was sad when they moved him to the pen. Don't know why I didn't go against him again tonight. Maddux has been good at home. This might sound crazy but SD might be a team worth playing the rest of the season. Their pitching is still decent and they have called up some young players that want to prove themselves and they are scoring lots of runs. A far cry from what they did earlier this season. Adrian Gonzalez is as good as they come. If these youngsters keep playing hard I might jump on them with their big boys pitching. You will certainly get value with them.
