The bottom line in the NBA is you don't win a ring unless you've got a superstar. It's always been that way and it always will be.
The guy had Dirk and could've properly loaded up around him to make a ring run year after year. But he only succeeded in winning one ring and all of his additions and selections to put on the team have been mindblowingly dumb.
I'm thinking once Dirk is gone, Cuban's teams will be perennial trash unless he lucks into another superstar-caliber player.
