Is live tv delayed???

hmmm... i'm watching the laker's game on abc and the score was 4-4. and i'm on espn.com. the score on espn.com went 5-4, then he shot the freethrow on tv. then it went 6-4, then the guy shot the freethrow on tv. so espn.com is quicker than tv!!!

Not 100% sure but from what I recall live tv is delayed by 7 seconds ever since the janet jackson superbowl incident.

hd is delayed significantly more than regular tv as well. if you play them side by side there is also a second or two difference.

Not 100% sure but from what I recall live tv is delayed by 7 seconds ever since the janet jackson superbowl incident.
The FCC does not want any traumatic scenes shown because of children watching...ie...terrorist attack, streaker, etc.

that's cool... i feel as if i can see the future!!! i knew spurs were going to call a timeout before i saw it on tv!!! hahaha
