No one seems to have talked about this here but I wonder what everyone thinks about Lebron not shaking hands after the last game.

I think it's wrong. I understand he's pissed but a handshake to the other team would be appropriate. Especially with Dwight whom I'm sure he has respect for and was a teammate with last summer. Just from someone who's the MVP and talked about so much, it would have showed a little class.

And his excuse on Sunday was pretty lame.

NFL coaches who hate each other meet at midfield after the game to at least give an icy handshake. Boxers who beat the shit out of each other, at least come over to congratulate one another.

Just think Lebron's still got some growing up to do.

for real.. this is some bs streetball attitude by lebron. Your playing a refereed, official and organized game.

Beyond what happened at face value here, as you described bennyshoe, what really pisses me off is that LeBron has been shaking hands with his opponents EVERy SINGLE GAME HES PLAYED since the first time he touched a ball in an organized game.

And suddenly.. cause hes MVP, has the best record in league and is SUPPOSE to make the finals.. hes suddenly ABOVE the game?!?!

No, fuck you lebrick, the game does not need you, you need the game...

New Anti-Lebron fan for life.

Yes he is a sore loser.

He said something along the lines of, "If someone beats me up, I can't just go shake his hand after, that doesn't make any sense to me."

Of course it does. It makes sense to everyone else in the history of sports, but you? Just because he is Lebron doesn't mean he can do whatever he wants and people will blindly defend him.

He is the one that gets all of the hype, all of the coverage, his teammates guaranteed victory, and the Magic came out and beat their ass. He should have manned up, walked over to those guys and shook their hand and told them GOOD GAME, good luck, I'll be back, anything but showing his opponent disrespect.

You always tip your cap, or shake the hand of the man that prepared just as hard as you, practiced just as much as you, and came through the same struggle that you did to get to that point. That's what sports is all about.

After Lebron drops 40 on someone and the game is over, nobody should cheer, everyone should just leave the building in silence, no hand shakes, no crowd noise, just leave. No media coverage, no congrats. We'll see how much he likes that.

"I sent him an email." That's bush league school girl shit. I thought he was better than that. I thought he made a mistake and would admit he was wrong the next day, not defend himself with the crap that came out of his mouth in that interview.

I'm glad he didn't shake hands. It finally shows that he's tired of losing. He's been too gracious in defeat before and it irked me. Now he's starting to get what it's like to really hate losing like Jordan did. Fuck the Magic and fuck shaking their hands. I hope the Lakers take it to those bunch of assclowns.

Overall, Lebron has handled the media, & the expectations put on him, with a lot more maturity than most people ever would. He does not call out his coaches/teammates in public, he does not make excuses & said the right thing when Mo was baited into a guarantee.

My guess is that he did not accept that the season was over & was too upset to discuss it with a media that wants to delve into every detail of the failure, & to ask him 50,000 questions about what team he will be on next.

I don't excuse him for not congratulating the Magic. That was unsportsmanlike. but i think the overall way he carries himself should be considered before concluding he is a selfish clown. Nobody acts perfect in front of the public at all times.

Jim Kelly after he lost his fourth straight superbowl talked to the media after the game on crutches

I always had a lot of respect for Kelly after he did this. He was the leader of the team and the first guy out of the locker room to talk with the media

He took the Heat

Thats what real men do

Lebron thinks he is the greatest player ever to play the game. He is a pompous ass. His actions are inexcusable. The fact of the matter is that Cleveland played like crap against Orlando, and should have been out in 4 games. Lebron has a lot of growing up to do. Let's hope that this butt kicking kicks some sense into him, though I doubt it. He obviously believes all the B.S. hype that these alleged "experts" pile on him. You have to wonder if this guy is a cancer in the locker room, ala Barry Bonds.

Boxslayer said it best. Baseball is the only sport where the teams don't acnolodge the other team after the game. Thought LeBron was classier than that.

if my team had the best record in the league and we just lost the conference finals, i am not sure if i would want to go congratulate the other team either for kicking my butt, who really cares?

They still talk about the Pistons walking out during the Bulls series in Chicago. Orlando will use it as motivation when they play Cleveland next year.

Surprised that it took boxslayer only to the third post to jump in on his negativity toward lebron. Dude has a hardon for the guy.

Who cares if he didnt shake hands? I sure dont. Stop being such pusses. Everyone wants to make a big deal about it because they have nothing else to talk about.
