Is Koyie Hill (Cubs) the most worthless player in MLB?

Every time he's at the plate he swings at the first or second pitch, grounds into double plays and totally kills any sort of rallies for the Cubs. He's also has a career .199 average.

Which player is worse?

From a personal, biased standpoint, my choice is Yuniesky Betancourt. Uncoachable and lazy, not a good mix. Not to mention his awful, league worst at shortstop -8.3 UZR.

Basically, I'd like to thank the Royals right now for taking him off the Mariners hands.

As an M's fan, I completely agree with this. It's nice to see the M's now have a GM who doesn't get raped on every deal like Bavasi did.

As for the original question though, I'd like to stay with the M's and pick Ronnie Cedeno. This guy really has no business being in the majors. He's a decent defender, but he's the offensive equivalent of Buddy Biancalana (let's see if anyone remembers him). He somehow managed to pull a few hits out of his ass on their last road trip, but he is beyond awful.

Peter,

I agree, Cedeno is bad. But I'm glad the Mariners took Cedeno's defense over Betancourt's wet-noodle. It gives hope to Felix, Bedard, and Washburn that we are actually trying to help them get outs.

True. I'm just happy Yuni is gone. His attitude won't be missed . The funny thing is, I remember a few years ago when, supposedly, he was the hottest commodity on the M's. I still remember watching a game and hearing Niehaus say that whenever the M's phone rang the GM on the other end was always asking about Betancourt. People actually thought he was going to be a star.

Don't assume people in charge know what they are d

Griffy is a bum. Once great but now the worst DH 4 batter in MLB
Why he bats 4th???? Bad coach.
Only get $2M.....so he can justify being lazy.
Never runs anything out, ever.
