From a personal, biased standpoint, my choice is Yuniesky Betancourt. Uncoachable and lazy, not a good mix. Not to mention his awful, league worst at shortstop -8.3 UZR.
Basically, I'd like to thank the Royals right now for taking him off the Mariners hands.
Peter,
I agree, Cedeno is bad. But I'm glad the Mariners took Cedeno's defense over Betancourt's wet-noodle. It gives hope to Felix, Bedard, and Washburn that we are actually trying to help them get outs.
As an M's fan, I completely agree with this. It's nice to see the M's now have a GM who doesn't get raped on every deal like Bavasi did.
As for the original question though, I'd like to stay with the M's and pick Ronnie Cedeno. This guy really has no business being in the majors. He's a decent defender, but he's the offensive equivalent of Buddy Biancalana (let's see if anyone remembers him). He somehow managed to pull a few hits out of his ass on their last road trip, but he is beyond awful.
