If you're interested, Jacksonville's available at Matchbook at that price. Or, make a counter-offer and I'll definitely consider raising the line. My honest assessment is that Jax +300 is good value, but I'm selling at that price only as a hedge against a pre-season 30-1 wager. I know that prob makes it seem I'd be lying about considering jax +300 a good bet, but Jax has several advantages in the tie breaking procedures and relative upcoming schedules of the other competitors that most people don't realize. Even if they lose to Tenn today, they'd still be very much in the hunt. Jax advantages, in no particular order:
1. Jax beat Indy earlier. If they were able to win again (at indy, this time, unfort), it would gain them a gm and the tie breaker. Right now, I'd estimate that line will be Indy - 5ish (much like today's dallas at indy line). Also, Jax matches up excellently vs. Indy. Indy can't stop the run and Jax rushing offense is excellent.
2. Tenn's starting qb Vince Young is out for the season. Their backup is 37 yr old Kerry Collins who, in my opinion is likely to get injured again and knocked out (he was already knocked out for a few gms earlier in the season). That would leave tenn with only their third string qb, a rookie who looked terrible last week in his only start.
3. This div is going to be won by either Indy or Jax, and I'm offering one of them +300. Indy's available everywhere at - 160ish, so if you're unconvinced, you can always buy Indy and put both tms into profit.
Anyway, thanks for your time.
Kind regards,
NI
