Is it wise to bet a week ahead?

I'm thinking about putting half of my bankroll on Denver -7 @ KC for week 4 before week 3 is played. The only negative would be if Denver incurs numerous injuries to key players. I may be jinxing myself, but I don't see this happening. Do they really want to give away free money? Is this a smart move, or do most seasoned bettors wait for the actual week to come around? Thanks in advance.

Never chase man. There is so much that can happen to a team between now and then. If you like a line just monitor it. Most of all we dont know what half backroll is.
KC isn't getting any better, Denver could def. get worse.

I would have to agree. I have bet a week ahead every now and then, but would never risk half my bankroll. Just relax, sit back, and keep an eye on the line.

The only reason to do something like that was if u thought the line would change a significant amount before the week of the game. Say the line is -7 and you think u know some reason that the line will go to -3 by gametime...This would be a very big advantage to you ofcourse( provided u like the dog) but remember the books dont make money by giving you a huge advantage. They must not think the line will move that much or they wouldnt have it up...And if something does happen and you think well ill just bet the other side that if its that big of a injury or whatever that makes the line move the game may not even be on the board at all....VERY RISKY to try those type of wagers.
