Is it too early to say Rogers will be a bust at GB

I disagree with this statement. The Packers grossly overachieved last year in my opinion and he is stepping in with enormous amounts of pressure with basically the same team. Plus, he has a passer rating of 91.2 so far this year. You can hardly blame this team's struggles on him. In a few years would be the better time to evaluate him on whether or not he "is a bust." He is in the top half of quarterbacks in the league in my opinion in his first starting year.

don't you need to be a rated QB...to be "over-rated"

coming into this year nobody thought he'd be a top 10-15 QB, so I guess I am confused how he is over-rated???

I actually think he is doing a fine job - Ryan Grant disappeared this year and they've lost some very close games.

Rodgers is one of the Packers' strenghts. Packers need linemen, both offensive and defensive.

Rogers to me is just a over-rated qb......ck
I certainly don't think he's the second coming of favre (did I just say that? LOL). You can certainly do alot worse that Rogers if you ask me... Vince Young, Tavaris Jackson, Rex Grossman, Cullpepper, and on and on.

I'm not sure how many years he got on that big contract with GB, but its certainly going to get interesting if he doesn't play to expectation

I think Rodgers is a nice qb and he puts numbers up...

After saying that just don't think he is a winner...

rogers just can't get it done when it needs to get done most

Does not have what it takes.... He is not a winner, you can see it when he has to make a play and the game is on the line...

Some guys just have "it", he does not...

funny people sh** on VY, yet he took a very crappy 0-3 Tenny team and almost led them to the playoffs. no one can say he inherited a great defense and great running game...the team was absolute crap and getting drilled.

next year, he leads Tenny to the playoffs.

he's winning the first game against jax this season when he goes down with injury and suddenly he's terrible.

yes, his throwin motion isnt good. but he's still a WINNER.

now the mental problems he has now I cant comment on. no idea what's going on there, but crapping on VY at every turn is wrong.

i agree with the poster who says you have to be "rated" to be overrated. This was the first year for him and he's doing OK but he still has a long way to go to becoming a good QB. still makes mistakes and bad throws

I agree he is a average qb, but that will not get it done in gb and i also agree he is not a winner, meaning that he not the qb imo that can step up and make that 2 min drive to win a big game.his time imo will be short in gb......ck

I don't think bust is the word but is he the answer for Green Bay to get back to the Super Bowl, don't think so. Rodgers has flashes of brilliance but I think he's only a slightly above average quarterback.

Right now the Packers are not playing good football and they had alot taken out of them last week in a game they should have won after coming back

Talk all the crap you want about Favre but the guy had this same team in the NFC championship game last season. Rogers and company will not even sniff the playoffs this year!

This isn't the same team. Lost some key linemen during the offseason, injuries in the secondary cost the Packers a few early games, and losing Nick Barnett for the season hasn't helped either.

They aren't a great team...but I think it's ridiculous to call Rodgers a bust at this point in time.

How can you possibly rate a first year starter before his first year starting is even over? :think2:

Pack has major problems in the trenches...on both sides of the ball...Rodgers has done very well when you consider he doesn't have a line...or a defense.

Geezus...tough crowd.
