anyone that follows prospects knows that his hot start was not a suprise, same with Pence.
If the Brewers were real smart they would swap Suppan or Vargas out of the rotation for Gallardo.
Other prospects worth noting...
Tim Lincecum- could provide huge value because of his unimpressive stats but has improved him command and figured out he need Bengie behind the dish...he should have a monster 2nd half (ala Matt Cain '06, I made $$$ on that prediction last year)
Homer Bailey- an excellent young pitcher that has the unfortunate disadvantage of pitching in a little league field. He will have tremendous value at times this year.
Phil Hughes- I know quite a bit about this young pitcher. My cousin was teammates with him and says that he gets "injured" all of the time. He could be the next Prior/Wood disappointment. I wouldn't count on him in the long run.
Ryan Braun is getting some help from hitting in front of Fielder (which helped fuel J.J Hardy's amazing start)...the only thing that he need to work on is his defense. But he could easily be a 20-20 candidate in the future (maybe even this year!) because the guy has some wheels along with an amazing bat.
