It seems to me that the RX is slowing down as alot of good posters have left here and doesnt seem to get the traffic like it once did.Was just curious if you are seeing the same thing or is it just me.

Here we go again, are you recruiting for somebody or this is just the best conversation starter you could come up with?

I don't think it's slowing down any. Just this Weekend, we had I think like 6800+ on here at one time.

Plus the fact that the Site itself, held that amount without any slow down getting on.

I agree a LOT of good posters have left...But there are a lot of new fish poking around and thus the mods can trumpet "RECORD NUMBER OF USERS TODAY".

That's all fine and dandy, good for selling ads. But it sucks we lost some of those veterans. I'd trade these 5,000 new bodies clicking on Ramshizzle's picks to get GD back here. Of course Wil and the crew with paychecks would disagree; but quality has taken a major hit, imho.

Yesterday saw more traffic in the NBA forum - in 2008 there was more action in college hoops than in 2009. Probably due to scheduling.

Maybe I should have posted here that I have seen alot of quality posters have left the RX and I dont get into the politics and games that goes on in here but wanted to know the reasoning behind this thats all.Im not trying to stir up trouble or cause problems about this but getting tired of seeing some of the BS that goes on in here thats all.

Just want to add that no website has the amount of ingame chatter as the RX has on NFL games and NCAA Football games

I am sorry to hear that you are getting tired of what you refer to as the BS that goes on around here but I assure you our moderators do the best they can to keep the peace and treat all posters equally while trying to enforce the rules that everyone agreerd to abide by when they registered.

Posters, moderators and lurkers come and go, that has always been the way this forum operated. The main problem we have is we can't please everyone all at once.

For example I know you don't like Beantownjim, but others do enjoy his offbeat humor. In the end he is basically harmless but some people don't see it that way.

The real truth of the matter is the site has never been busier despite some longtime posters leaving for one reason or another. In the last 48 hours over 50 newbies have registered, hopefully a few of them will become new popular posters that will contribute to the site in some positive way.

The Rx is a free site and everyone is entitled to their own opinion of how it is operated. We continue trying to offer fun and well financed contests for our posters and we also continue to help posters with problems at sportsbooks assistance immediately when asked. I was able to help a poster get $9500 sent to him yesterday after receiving his email on Sunday. Posters asked for PMs and we managed to get them installed, Tech Support just installed a third server to handle traffic. The mods respond to Report a Posts ASAP.

All suggestions are taken seriously and given due consideration.

Thanks and best of luck, wilheim

All together, my friends have raised around 14,000 and thru our efforts have made the orphanage very happy with washing machines, computers, and many other amenities that you and I take for granted...

Thanks to all posters who donated and took the time to enter the BetPhoenix contest for us...

with football ending I expect traffic to go down even more (at all sites)

baseball starting simply cannot hold the same interest as football can.

RR used to be fun with bashing and porn and teasing the shit out of kimchee/ej/po69

....now the RR has turned into a group of regulars constantly stroking each other and creepy guys hitting on DW and IAG (who are no doubt dudes themselves)

I`ve been posting at "sheets" for 5 years.
Intolerant little bunch of bitches over there.
Glad i stumbled onto this site.
The same shit that goes on over there also goes on here, but to an extremely lesser extent because it is moderated.

Good posters leave because
A: Burnout
B: Time constraints
C: Money mismanagement
D: Negative critisicm

You forgot a few:
E: Stiffed and can't face fellow gamblers as a stiff
F: Rx has banned them
G: Decided it wasn't worth it anymore after they saw NES peeping in their window one night.
