Is it just me, or does anyone else think McGrady is just plain dumb?

The guy has no basketbal savvy.

I can't point to ONE major incident, it's just a feeling that I get when I watch him play.

The last game, he didn't foul in the dying seconds and let 5-6 seconds tick off the clock. Today, he's slowly dribbling up the court with 12 seconds left - when the team clearly needs two scores to tie/win.

Sadly many players lack that basic basketball knowledge anymore. Things like clock mgmt. and knowing when to foul and when not to are things players should know instictively, without looking to the coach for every answer. It's really sad when a team leader like McGrady falls into this category.

Of course he is an idiot. Wesley and Barry both standing alone behind the 3 point line to shoot the 3 at the end of the game. Instead sleepy eyes decides to dribble out and shoot a fadeaway with a foot on the 3-point line and Nowitzki all over him. So even if he makes the miracle shot, Hou still loses.

i put him along with vince carter, and stephon marbury...guys that'll sell tickets, but as for trying to build a team to win a ring, i wouldn't want them on my team..no concept of team basketball...
