Is it just me or are the Cavs rock solid this year?

Can anyone explain to me why the Cav's are 3 point dogs right now? Not to mention its been moving from around +2 this morning... I'm just confused as to why a team on a roll (8 win streak and LeBron is God among men) is dogs against a team looking to find the right chemistry?

becaus it's Detroit at home... man never knows... they won Lakers in Staples Center... They could beat Cavs at home... they had longer rest, play at home and have the name.
But hard to capp... if Cavs win, peple will say - yeah, it was no brainer... if Detroit wins - yeah, it was great value laying little points on a home team...

100% agree with your last point there. IMO Det is getting too much credit at home.. Cavs havent given up 100 pts yet on the road, and with Iverson Det is turning into a team that wins by scoring....more than a 100 kinda like the Eastern version of the Suns if you will

Any other year this line makes sense, but Detroit is still a new team..No Chauncey or McDyess? IMO McDyess was constantly an X-factor in Pistons wins and I don't see Detroit players getting used to the change of pace with Iverson runnin the show this quickly in the season...

Detroit is a better team than Cleveland, so if anything this line is a little short. Detroit is probably the best team in the east (at least imo they are) so there is no way they could have made Detroit a dog at home. With that said I would still have a small lean to Cleveland in this game because LeBron is incredibly hot and can beat teams himself.

No play for me.

clev is solid this year ..line is like this because they are b2b and lets not forget the homecourt advantage for pistons..

More I think about it it definitely is a hands off game...too bad my impatient ass already laid one on CLE+3. Either way I've been riding them so technically nothing changed for me regardless of result...

Line is right where it belongs...throw out what these teams have done all year...its cle vs det ...two/thirds of the best three teams in the eastern conference...its starpower in iverson vs lebron...its at DETROIT...that should be enough to not take cleveland...yes they are playing great but they are also on the second leg of road back to backs...and last time I checked Detroit isn't exactly in NJ's backyard...thats a nice little road trip to make and get ready to go against a gritty Detroit team

Like Det tonight

Looks a little short imo. Sometimes when people pose questions like this you gotta ask yourself what do you want the line to be? They couldn't possibly make the Cavs -1/-2 AT Detroit, that's absurd. This is about as good of value as you'll find with the Pistons at home. I'm off this one myself but good luck to everyone.

Definitely true..I was just too quick to jump the gun on LeBron's hot streak. If you do think about it instead of just staring at the line there is no way that an eastern team coming into DET can be a favorite. Thanks for all your input guys I am still very new at this and appreciate all a select few in here do for everyone. :pope:
