Is it even possible to make one quick bet offshore, and get paid fast ?...

I think not!

If somebody asked me where they could make one bet, get paid ( paying Fed-ex fees themselves), I'm not so sure I could direct them to a book.

Jamaica would be best guess.

I know at Caribsports.com, you can get $3000 sent out overnight by Fed-Ex for a $65 charge. Supposedly the greek and 5 Dimes is pretty quick.

that sure cuts out a casual guy that might want to bet $300 on a whim, and certainly anything less than that.

I guess I'd have to tell somebody wanting to bet $100, to forget it, or find a local, or book it myself ( I don't do that).

I'm sure they are still A+

could they handle a one time bet for a lousy $100 ? I tend to doubt it, understandably. I don't think anybody could !

It seems minimum one and out bet is more like $500-1000 ?

I'm talking your World Series, Superbowl type player.

I tend to agree with you $tinky, but these guys can become regular steady losers. However I couldn't book them ( as an offshore) w/o them paying the fees, nobody really can, anymore.

To some extent, you want these guys, no ?

I'd have to tell such a player... it can't be done. I'd book it myself ( I guess) as a favor... if paid in advance... maybe I like the side, if not lay it off.

There should be a way to do a single bet, IMO. Your cutting off your future, as an offshore, this way.

I wish I had a better answer.

My answer would have to be... I'll relunctantly (sp?) book it myself, but I need the money upfront... I ain't chasing you to collect, if you lose. You'll sure be at my door, if you win.

I wonder how many guys accidentally became bookies this way ? :think2:

I don't want to book, don't even have customer #1, but a kid (24 or so) comes to once in awhile, been over a year, but he'd come to me for advice as to where to bet, I sent him to Betjam last time.

I guess I'd book him now... only cash upfront. Give him straight Bookmaker lines.

Told you the last time you brought this up. Just Book it !!
I know you are NOT a bookie. But if this kid comes around once or twice, Why Not ??

Or just Play it for him with the money up front. If he wins, you can either lay it out of your pocket or tell him he has to wait until you make a withdrawl

If I ever booked this kid, I'd pay him in cash ( if he won), as soon as the game was final, only fair if he posted up with me.

That is how I will handle it, if anybody ever asks me to make a bet for them, since they can't bet offshore ( realistically). They can have anything Bookmaker will take... at least to a dime... no huge parlays... shit I can pay ( if they win).

If I like the other side, I get +110, if I like their side, lay it off.

Greek would take a quickee $100 bet, and Fed-ex you a check ? It wouldn't be worth it to my hypothetical player to pay $30+ in fees for the check.
if you had their "card", it would cost you 10 bux to get your cash out
