Is it business as usual for Canadian gamblers since the Neteller fall in U.S?

Would love to hear any Canadian stories.

Does anyone know anyone that moved there from the U.S to keep betting?

Is it easy to bet there or hasnt it gotten a little harder?

Are there gamblers in 20+ books moving money, scalping, middling, etc?

Do you have your money minutes from sites like Pinny when you ask for a w/d? I assume everyone still uses Neteller there without any problems?

Have things changed there in Canada at all? Are they running into any of the same problems that we are, here in the U.S.?

Think it would be interesting to hear.

Neteller was good but I use moneybookers now and it works fine.

I'm currently only using one book but I've used moneybookers for a few sportsbooks and poker rooms and I get my money about as fast as I did with neteller.

NeTeller banned Canadians too, back on the same day they banned Americans!

Neteller put the boots to Canadians about a year ago, not long after the Americans got their walking papers ... thought that was common knowledge.

We can still use Moneybookers, but there is a maximum quarterly dollar amount that can be transferred ($15-45K range, depends on the account) using Moneybookers, so big players still have a major problem moving money around, even if they have a Moneybookers account.

Okay well that clears that up. I spoke to someone at the Bash and they told me that Neteller was still in Canada and everything was fine. I was really surprised when I heard that. Now I see where the confusions comes from. So they are in Canada but no Canadians also?

Before all the shit hit the fan, they were headquartered in Calgary. After all the stuff hit, they moved most if not all of their head office to the UK, I believe.

Yeah, every post office doubles as a MG outlet up here, and there are WUs everywhere, but I always use either Moneybookers (larger amounts) or Instadebit (small amounts).

Haven't deposited by CC in several years, but when I did, one bank called me to confirm that I wanted to "send money to a casino gambling site" (it was actually a Neteller deposit!) and another bank didn't bother me at all.

All in all, apart from Neteller being gone, it seems to be business as usual.

If you move enough money with moneybookers they give you pro gambler or VIP status and that removes the limits you mentioned... its basically replaced neteller for me.

I have heard people talk about this, but haven't actually seen anything on their website about it.

How does it work ? Do you have to e-mail them and request this "pro gambler" status ?
