Is Houston -7 vs Oakland a gift from baby Jesus?

I cannot find one reason a good Houston team should lose to this Oakland team. They should easily cover the -7 but I'm thinking of just loading up on the ML. I know both teams have nothing to play for and Houston doesn't have a great defense, but with Schaub back, and on fire, why would they not light up Oakland?

This play seems so easy that it's scary. It screams 'Trap!' but I'll kick myself if I don't play it and then when I see Houston win this game 38 - 14.

I like Houston here alot. Hoping they can blow them out by double digit. What do you think about the over/under?

Ballpicker, forget about that trap nonsense. Your points are valid! The Texans play with heart and have players who love the sport. Just this once I will compare Dallas (J. Jones) to Oakland (A. Davis), these teams want to buy a Superbowl instead of building a team like Baltimore has done and the Texans are doing. I think its a good bet. Good Luck! Just remember there is no such thing as free money or anything else. Dallas should have been the Money Maker last night except they played a real team and I think a bunch of us forgot that.

Oakland does stink but Im going with the rotten raiders in this matchup. Here are a couple trends supporting the crappy raiders even though I rarely use them. Going against road teams after the first month of the year off a win as a home underdog is 194-62 straight up for 92.1 units on the moneyline. The home team is 17-4 straight up in Houston’s last 21 games

oakland is tough to cover against at home, very tough and their defense is stingy. That being said, ton of turmoil in Oakland right now with Cable accusing the Oline coach of quitting on the team. Might be a good spot to play Houston but there are better bets out there.

Sportsoptions shows 89 percent on the Texans, but the line has not moved half a point. Oakland will cover, or at the very least Vegas will collect the juice on the 7

Especially with both receivers out. They both blow anyone, but still at least they were starting.

I tried to warn him in my earlier post. He asked for reasons not to take Houston so I gave them to him. Seems like a bunch of the novices got hurt today taking favorites like the houston, pitt, and the jets. I had a great day
