[h=1]The cough is back! Clinton covers her mouth to clear her throat as she speaks to reporters on her campaign plane - after cough-free debate[/h]
  • Clinton made it through 95 minutes of debate on Monday night without her notorious cough showing up
  • But in a brief discussion with reporters on her campaign plane on Tuesday morning she was coughing again
  • Persistent questions about her health were only raised glancingly at the debate when Trump said he questioned her stamina

It has been the cough which has dogged Hillary Clinton's campaign - and hours after it failed to surface at the presidential debate, it was back.
Clinton covered her mouth briefly to cough as she spoke on Tuesday to reporters on board her plane.
It interrupted a claim of triumph in the debate, which many had been watching avidly for clues as to her true state of health.

Returned: Clinton went 95 minutes without coughing on Monday night but it resurfaced in a brief conversation on Tuesday morning on her campaign plane

Holding on: Clinton took a firm grip of the rail as she climbed the steps to her campaign's Boeing 737 at White Plains Airport, near her Chappaqua, NY, home

But she was unaffected by either the cough or the other issues which have been commented on during her campaign - particularly her eyes not moving together.
Some observers, including conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, had suggested that one of the major elements of pressure on Clinton on Monday night was to avoid coughing.
He had told MSNBC: 'She has so many things she can't do. She cannot cough, she cannot laugh with the distinctive Hillary laugh, she cannot shout like she did at her supporters last week and she cannot condescend.'
Clinton successfully lasted the full 95 minutes of the event - which over-ran by five minutes - and it was Trump's persistent sniffing which was widely noticed.
Her health was not raised by Lester Holt, the debate moderator, and Trump also refrained from directly discussing it.

Her eye movements have also raised questions, with her two eyeballs moving in apparently different directions.
There was no sign of that at the debate, or of any apparent vision problems, but she held the handrail of her plane gingerly on Tuesday morning.

News Anchor: Secret Service Banned Flash Photography At Debate For Fears It Would Trigger ‘Hillary’s Seizure Disorder’ [VIDEO]

PIX 11 news anchor Kirstin Cole announced Monday that the Secret Service banned flash photography from Sunday night’s presidential debate hall at Washington University in St. Louis over fears it could “inspire Hillary’s seizure disorder.”

“For those of you who watched to the bitter, bitter end of this, did you catch this?” Cole posed to the audience. “The comeback of the cardboard camera. Holy 80s drive me to the photo map, Batman.”

“We thought it was a Secret Service thing, banning the cell phones.”

New Emails: Hillary Needs Podium, ‘Cannot Walk Around’

In 2009, Abedin said Clinton would object to speaking with crowd on both sides or without podium

by Edmund Kozak | Updated 18 Oct 2016 at 1:02 PM

Emails obtained by Citizens United through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and released on Tuesday suggest that walking around a stage may have been a challenging burden for Hillary Clinton as early as 2009.

In a 2009 email exchange between top Clinton aide Huma Abedin and Clinton Global Initiative employees Amitabh Desai and Ed Hughes, Abedin revealed that Clinton could not walk around the stage like her husband Bill Clinton and would need a podium for an upcoming address.

au"Just want to make sure someone has coordinated with you on hrc speech set up," Abedin wrote. "She won't be able to give it in the round like [Bill Clinton] does walking around with microphone," she explained. "Are we able to set it up so shes speaking at a podium [sic]?"

Hughes told Abedin that a high table that doubles as a podium would be on the stage for Clinton's use, but also noted that "the room is set 'stage in the round' with the circular stage in the center of the round, audience all around in concentric circles … similar to some of last year's campaign rallies with public in the background."

Interestingly, even that raised a red flag for Abedin. "I'm worried that will be an issue for her. Can we do a half round or something?" she asked. The exchange suggests that Clinton not only may have trouble physically walking around a stage, but also some trouble focusing with the presence of a crowd behind her.

The email's release comes on the heels of a leaked email provided by WikiLeaks that also suggested Clinton regularly needs to use a podium as a literal crutch.

In that email exchange, Abedin responded to Dan Schwerin's drafts of a potential Clinton press statement following the Benghazi hearings. "I would make it shorter only because it's a bank of Mics and no podium," she said.
