Is Greek Slipping???

Yes of course he is, accounts are dropping at The Greek and now have slipped from number 1 to number 4 in 2 years time. They will be out of the top ten by next year, yes a scary trend. He did not keep up with competition and the lower reduced vig shops are flying by him. I would recommend starting to look elsewhere when choosing your top 5 because you are getting ripped off there when making most plays there. You have to be out of your mind to bet -110 and -120's on football when you can get -107, -105 and -102 elsewhere. Make the right move and choose reduced vig shops and your success rate will be so much higher. Stop being a square and bet into any line.

JJ makes valid points as far as being able to bet lower vig at other shops. I really like Olympic, a very top notch sportsbook with good limits. When it comes to vigourish, there are many other shops that offer better value. However, OLY has their strengths too. Early lines, nice array of props, and high limits being some of the reasons. Dont get me wrong, OLY is a safe shop, but JJ is probably right in his thinking that OLY is not in the top 5 of books if safety is the only issue. For my own personal betting characteristics, I like at least 10-15 books better than OLY. Just one mans opinion. Definetely a top notch book, dont get me wrong.

I agree that Olympic is a solid out, but some people act like they are the only solid out. Why would you play at -110 and higher lines when there are other books, just as solid, that deal better prices.

I could care less about all the personality conflicts here. Some of you make yourselves look like idiots just to disagree with someone you don't care for.

For you people that do play at thegreek .com, make sure before you make a bet, no matter if it is football, basketball,tennis, golf or boxing, 99% of the time you can get a better price or pointspread at places like Canbet, 5 dimes, Pinnacle among others.
