After watching Larry Fitzgerald against Carolina and against Phily and what he does to get the ball. I seriously think he is the #1 receiver today. His vertical is amazing and his speed is godlike. What are your
thoughts? I personally think he is better than Moss, Owens, R. Wayne, and even Andre Johnson.

My top 3 today are:

1. L. Fitzgerald
2. A. Johnson
3. S. Smith

What do you guys think of in the RX

I think so. He catches everything thrown to his area code.

Hard guy to dislike, too.

hes not the best, people just having orgasms after seeing him yesterday.

talent wise, speed wise, hands wise, strength wise its andre johnson.

marshall would be right up there but he drops too many balls.

personally i go 1. andre johnson 2. fitzy 3. calvin johnson.

Actually Fitzgerald does not have blazing speed. But he knows how to get open, has tremendous hands and body control, and knows what to do with the ball after he catches it. I'll bet his yards after the catch rank right near the top. And as someone already mentioned, he goes vertical to get the ball in coverage as well as anyone in the game.

(Kudos to Santonio Holmes yesterday too for his exceptional TD run. I bet against him. That rat.).

Randy Moss has seen his best days.

Terrell Owens drops way too many passes to make my list even without his antics. His antics completely eliminate him from consideration. No matter how good you judge him to be he's a team buster.

Andre Johnson is a great fantasy football player but I would be hard pressed to critique him 'cause I never get to see him play.

Wes Welker is a great posession receiver and tough as nails for a little guy. But he doesn't do much with the ball after the catch.

As much as I disdain Plaxico he needs to be in this discussion.

Steve Smith is tough, not that fast, but a real gamer once he gets his hands on the ball.

Hines Ward is similar but has also seen his best days.

Boldin, is tough, has pretty good hands, and also can gain yardage after the catch. But after his sideline antics yesterday WITH THE OC WHILE ARIZONA WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR MOST IMPORTANT DRIVE OF THE GAME AND THE OC IS TRYING TO CALL PLAYS, I wouldn't want him on my team. He could have cost his team a chance to get to the Big Game. That scene was ridiculous. I'd trade his ass outa there in the offseason.

Haven't seen enough of Marshall.

Same with Calvin Johnson.

Reggie Wayne is solid but I think his QB helps him alot.

I like Greg Jennings too.

Other guys who make it to at least Honorable Mention: Roddy White, Antonio Bryant, and TJ Housh.

Larry Fitz gets my #1 vote. Complete receiver with a good attitude.

He is in the cluster of about 4-5 guys that can make that claim.

I would pick Andre Johnson if he could stay healthy more.

andre johnson or calvin johnson. marshall might be better then both if he could catch more consistently.

fitz doesnt have the physical abilities to be number 1. he's the best at using what he has though.

What Calvin Johnson did this season with a dumpster fire offense and terrible QB is amazing. I think he is the best.

right now, fitz is the best, johnson is second
T.O is overrated, vincent jackson oF S.D. had better numbers in bigger games then T.O. and makes 800k a year while T.O. makes 8.5 million

My order would go:

1. FITZGERALD
2. CALVIN JOHNSON
3. ANDRE JOHNSON

(and I would probably draft like that fantasy football wise)

Tough season for Moss though. Losing Brady in Week 1 and he's being judged based on his record-breaking performance last season. You can't expect him to duplicate that. He has seen better days though.
